Find answers to the most common questions about our seeds, orders, shipping, and more.
All of our seeds are open-pollinated heirloom varieties. We never sell hybrids (F1) or GMO seeds, so you can save seeds from your harvest and grow them true-to-type next year.
Our seeds are grown pesticide free using sustainable practices. While not all lots carry a certified-organic label, everything we sell is clean, untreated, and safe for your garden.
Start with our Planting Calendar—choose your USDA zone and it will show you when to sow each crop. Our Growing Guides also note sun and soil preferences for every variety.
Orders ship within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in 3–7 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
At this time we ship within the United States only. Seed import rules vary widely by country, and we want every packet to arrive safely and legally.
If anything about your order isn't right, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund. Your garden's success matters to us.
Keep seeds cool, dark, and dry—an airtight container in a closet or refrigerator works well. Stored properly, most varieties stay viable for 2–5 years.
